INVESTMENT IN HUMAN RESOURCE IN 5G VALLEY

ICTA hosted 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony. 

5G Valley studies continue at full speed in corporation with Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA), Hacettepe University (Hacettepe), Middle East Technical University (METU), İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University (Bilkent), Turkcell Communication Services Inc. (Turkcell), Turk Telecommunication Inc. (Türk Telekom) and Vodafone Telecommunication Inc. (Vodafone) who are 5G Valley members.

To prepare Turkey for 5th Generation (5G) and Beyond mobile communication Technologies, with creating an ecosystem  

The 5G Open Test Area, which is established in order to prepare Turkey for 5th Generation (5G) and Beyond mobile communication technologies intended to  increase locality and Nationality rates, is carrying on studies for both software, hardware and system test infrastructure for 5G and Beyond tests and for raising the qualified human resources.

In this context, with 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program, which is signed between ICTA, Hacettepe, METU, Bilkent, Turkcell, Türk Telekom and Vodafone Turkey, it is targeted to raise qualified human resources to support all stakeholders in the information and communication ecosystem.

It is envisaged that qualified human resources that will receive education support within the scope of 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program will play a critical role in the development of valuable products and technologies that will be included in the world markets and our country. In addition, by students who will be supported under the program, it is aimed to produce sustainable competence on advanced communication technologies and produce outputs in a wide variety of forms such as patents, projects and articles through their thesis studies.
