Standardization Working Group

Continuity of economic developments becomes possible by finding customers for pruducts in both domestic and global markets. The countries that want to benefit more from the share of trade in the world and to offer better products to consumers are competing with each other directed their producers to use the standards developed by scientific methods in their productions. ISO, IEC and ITU standards developed at the international level; social needs, market needs and regulatory needs. While these standards prevent new trade barriers that may arise from national security and safety regulations, they also help spread new technologies at the same time.


Because of the importance of the 5G standardization, a Standardization Working Group has been established under the 5GTR Forum and this group carries out activities within the scope of 5G standardization activities coordination, ecosystem informing, patent, intellectual property rights and standardization activities.
